Using Stained Vessels

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”

And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Isaiah 6:8

I am awed each time I try to figure out the character of our God and every time I try to consider what He looks for in the people He chooses, I reach a dead end. It is difficult to point out what God must have seen in the people He uses, the only common trait I notice in all is their "availability" Here I am send me.

The message of the Gospel has become so urgent that God is not waiting for perfect people to proclaim his word, He is looking for people who are available even though they are stained, Just like a starved man who will not mind to eat with unwashed hands. This leads me to the question why is God so urgent about his gospel? (Hold that thought)

It is no longer news to see so many men that have been used mightily in the proclamation of the Gospel only to find out they still battle with what they preach against, or some of them fall into sins you never would be caught doing with or without the knowledge of the Gospel. Should they be crucified? No, the critics of these men should be crucified in their place, it is because of these critics that God choose such men.

This beautiful song from Mike Guglielmucci " I believe you my healer" still a powerful song anointed to inspire faith to trust God. Was he perfect when he sang that song? No! he was actually living a lie that he had cancer, he even had a tube in his nose to be more convincing in his act, but the Holy Spirit still ministered and still ministers through that song that was created from the act of deceit. Now why?!

When the righteous ones are laid back about proclaiming the Gospel, God will use the babes, the stones to cry out in their place. Luke 19:40 "And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. This imperfect people that God used greatly were actually substitutes for the real ones who refused to answer the call to provoke the elect to jealousy. In Matthew 22:8-10 when the invited guests didn't turn up for the wedding, the feast was open to everyone they could find on the street, now see it reads "the good and the bad alike" The gospel will not stop because you refuse to preach it, God will pick the unlikely to speak his word and if these imperfect ones fall along the way due to their immaturity how can you condemn when God has justified them? He enables them with more grace that even when they stumble they will rise again.

Now why is the gospel so urgent that God calls the good and the bad alike to this feast?  Matthew 22:8-10  demonstrates that the position cannot be empty it must be filled, as it has been declared by the word of The Lord " the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God as the waters cover the sea Habakuk 2:14 so people must keep circulating this word irrespective of who tells the good news. Romans 10:14 "...and how shall they hear without a preacher?

The most intriguing part of this pattern is that these stained vessels after being used mightily of God if they don't clean up their stains right on time THE LORD WILL DENY THEM EVEN WHEN THEY PROCLAIM THEY DID MIRACLES IN HIS NAME.  Matthew 7:20-21 "...So then, you will know them by their fruits. 21"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22"Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?'…

Ask, so why did God use these men even when he knew they where stained? when an urgent message needs to be delivered especially of life and death any messenger available will be sent if the others are occupied, some masters have even trained animals to be effective messengers, when there was no messenger to Balaam, God used his donkey to speak to him!

God will use anybody and anyone to carry his message but if you are privileged to do this do not ascribe the miracles God is working through you to indicate his presence, check daily that you are still in the faith lest you become a castaway yourself.

Real messengers, what is keeping you occupied that you refuse his call? the fall of the substitutes is your shame and not your glory.

Would you allow the stones to cry out in your place? Rise up and take your place today.

The message is urgent because the time is near for his coming

Don't Judge Me!

Don't Judge Me!

This is the theme of modern christianity and everybody seem to be doing things upside down, down side up and we are all afraid to speak because we are afraid of the "who hath no sin cast the first stone doctrine" and sin thrives on like fashion

lets study this carefully

In Acts 7:54-60

Stephen, a pious devotee of the gospel while preaching the gospel upset members of the Sanhedrin and they "stoned him to death", but something significant happened before the death of Stephen, he saw the heavens opened and saw the son of man (Jesus Christ) standing at the right hand of God..

In John 8:1-11

A woman caught in the very act of adultery was brought before Jesus (Son of Man) to be dealt with according to the law, "stoned to death." interestingly Jesus answered them nothing but wrote on he ground and said "he who had no sin let him cast the first stone. When he looked up again the accusers were gone save the woman and Jesus said neither do I condemn thee........(every one seem to stop reading further from here)...Go and sin no more."

Analysis

The bible in Ezekiel 18:23 quotes, Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign LORD. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?

Stephen a devote christian at the point of death, saw Jesus Christ in Heaven, in His Majesty Standing at the right hand of power yet Jesus did not prevent him from been stoned to death because Jesus understood the death of the righteous as a treasure ( Isaiah 57:1) but for the woman caught in adultery He stopped the stoning, yet Jesus Christ did not in any means justify her, He agreed with the pharisees when they called the act sin, He agreed she was adulterous, He agreed that by law it was punishable but He did not agree that she should die in her sin unlike Stephen because The Lord has no gain in the death of a sinner and proceeded to tell her the truth yet in love "go and sin no more.

The reason we seem to get away with most wrong doing is not because God justified or saw nothing wrong in what we do or changed his laws but that we do not perish in our iniquity that's why we don't get judged now, but when you see a brother in any wrong doing or act, instead of keeping quiet because you don't want to be judged and allow that person to perish in sin why don't you discuss privately with that brother and help restore them instead of keeping quiet and contributing to ongoing gossips.

The Pharisees, the accusers of the adulterous woman despite how they have been slandered by today's " don't judge me christians" did some commendable things in their reaction to the woman's sin, some right and some wrong.

The right things they did:

1) They Identified sin

2) Recognised something must be done for atonement
3) Brought her to Jesus Christ
4) Left her Judgement to Christ after His word

The wrong things

1) Where is the man in the act?

2) The Stoning

Lets learn from the act of these pharisees that something needs to be done when a believer falls. You would not be condemned as judging if you help and you don't have to be perfect from sin to be qualified to restore others from their wrong as long as you are willing to receive counsel yourself. You only have to be perfect if you have to cast the stone

I rephrase " You don't have to be perfect to help bring up some one who has fallen you only have to be perfect if you have to cast a stone" Jesus did not rebuke the hypocritical pharisees for spotting the woman and bringing her, he only rebuked them for trying to cast the stone.

Be a guide and loving watch for your brethren in Christ and don't feel bad for been rebuked only fools hate good counsel.

God bless you

Word Sufficient Or Bread Sufficient?

Greetings to you all in the Name Of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

There is always a time for everything and I believe the Lord has according to his will brought me back to spreading THE GOOD NEWS once again through blogging.  It's been miraculous all the lord did with Christ Heirs International in Cardiff, United Kingdom, how through obedience to his divine will we launched out against all odds to preach the gospel and we indeed thank the Lord for his faithfulness as the Word did not return to us without response. So many where the people God touched and they responded with all they had to see that the fire of the gospel never burned low, God bless those who did not stay as back benchers but rose to leadership to promote the word of God, I would say a big thank you to the Holy Spirit to my lovely wife, partner and support, Morley Muse, Soso Tariah our choir director, founding member and trustee, to Pastor Segun Otaiku (The Bishop), Pastor Ademola Tiamiyu who has now been ordained to continue the ministry in Cardiff, Pastor Temilade Adeleke, Amby Uche our IT expert and graphic designer I see a great future ahead, to Fiona Keene now married as Mrs Fiona Wagbatsoma and the beloved Keane's family, Sarah Efe, her gentle but resilient support can never be forgotten in a hurry, Monique Ntozhake, Shebah Mimano, Angela Butera, Eniola Oggah, Naomi Shears, Karo Edor, Alice Smith, Blessing, Roberts Ngu, Paul Thomas, Imaobong Friday, Ify Odiwe and I will not forget  Pastor Samuel Uche with his spiritual and physical support always available when we need him with his brethren from Swansea especially Ifeanyi Duru a resilent man of faith who holds the word of God with a strong grip that God cannot ignore. I could go on and on, but I say thank you to you all and even those I have not called you are well appreciated and I know the fire of the gospel will spread through us all as till the earth is filled with the word as the water covers the sea. Amen

It's now close to two weeks since we touched down in Australia and its been miracles after miracles because it just seemed like God had gone before us to prepare everything we would need even before we come to need. Morley and Myself literally experienced what Ruth must have felt in the Land of Judah at the field of harvest when Boaz commanded his servants saying, "and let fall also some of the handfuls of purpose for her and leave them that she may glean them and rebuke her not'' Ruth 2:16, here Boaz had commanded his servants to deliberately lay aside sheaves along the way for Ruth, God favoured her by sparing her the hard work of having to glean the fields herself but jut to pick up on sheaves that have been left off for her without her knowing that it was a planned favour. I pray that you would experience this Planned favour In Jesus name.

Morley and I planned that I was going to have time to rest of activities both spiritual and physical but I feel so awkward doing nothing and a little guilty feeling of having too much rest comes in because often times I find myself sleeping of till 10:00am in the morning very not not me! (I am still overcoming the change in the time zones +9hrs) But lately I have been itchy, restless because its hard for me to get a message from the Holy Spirit and keep it to myself alone, what would I do with it alone? ( I kind of think its the Holy Spirit Interrupting my planned rest) I understand what Jeremiah must have felt when he said in Jeremiah 20:9 ' But if I say "I will not mention his word or speak anymore in his name, His word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot''
I am so full with His words in my heart that I find myself ministering in my dream. Oh well, Thankfully I remembered that when we had no church yet started in Cardiff how did we preach? yes Bible cards, one on one evangelism, but Aussie is so big how do we spread bible cards, how do we follow up on our beloved brethren in United Kingdom, America, Malaysia, Russia, Nigeria and now Australia? light bulb?! The Blog! I race up early to check on this blog I started in 2012 that I left off after the task of the ministry became demanding. Now it has become handy to reach out once again with his word to thirsty souls.

Keep looking up here I will be ministering on the word the Lord dropped in my heart "Word Sufficient or Bread Sufficient? It for someone reading. Don't  miss this

LOCATING THE PLACE OF YOUR HELP...

Segment 1 - Waiting, why so long?

' The Lord our God spoke unto us in Horeb, saying, ye have dwelt long enough in this mount: Turn you, and take your journey... Deuteronomy 1:6'

There is a time to wait and there is a time to move, I have always heard people saying 'I am waiting on the Lord', Believers regularly use that phrase and it seems to be running out of context. Everybody is waiting on God it seems we are on a queue. If God places us on a queue before he could attend to you, you would wait for the rest of your life...
There is a time to move, to flow and overflow, there is certainly a time to act.
It is not all about waiting. It is time to hear people say, ' I am acting on God's word. The followers of Jesus were called disciples- the 12 disciples, when they were with Jesus, training, watching, waiting and asking questions. That was all through the the books of Matthew to John and after Jesus left and released the Holy Spirit he empowered us to act on his behalf and in the proceeding chapters, the disciples were no longer called disciples but apostles and bible recorded the ACTS Of THE APOSTLES. (Apostles meaning `sent ones', instead of the previous; disciples meaning 'followers'). Today the world has viewed church growth in terms of seating capacity and number of people in the church but revival doesn't stop at the amount of people committed to your church but the number of them that grow out from being followers to world missionaries to birth new followers and so on. It is a continuous cycle a birth and rebirth.

I believe I am talking to someone today, God is saying you have waited long enough, now is the time to act on what he has told you. To be certain you have been instructed of God, 2Corinthians 1 :18-20 affirms to us that God's word is a bold YES. It is not a guessing game, yes or no, if or maybe's, God 's word to you is always certain and always sure. Your feelings and your sense of reason might be mixing it up in your mind, but be certain that your feelings can't change God's stand on whatever he has told you.

Segment 2- The Move, your Journey

The Holy Spirit, has been freely given to us, like a compass, he guides us and helps us make decisions based on God's word. You can never know the will of God for your life except through the Holy Spirit, 2 Corinthians 2: 10-11 ' but God hath revealed them unto us by his spirit for the spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man but the spirit of God'.

Only the Holy Spirit can reveal God's thought and plan and his very perfect will for you. And God is more than willing to tell you what he wants for you than you are willing to ask. Are you confused? Seek his Spirit! Are you afraid of choices to make if it is the right thing to do? seek the Holy spirit. You would be Amazed by his precision. Moses understood this principle when he was negotiating with God on behalf of the Israelites in Exodus 33:2 ...God said I will send an angel before thee... For I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiff necked people. Moses countered God and said in verse 15, if thy presence shall not go with me carry us not up hence. Moses knew the presence of God is the Holy Spirit which operates from the inside. The Holy Spirit operates from deep inside your belly and is always with you. The angels operates from the outside our bodies and ministers us (Hebrews 1:14). It is not easy to perceive the presence of an angel that is why most times we miss the angel because we do not recognise an angel except they are revealed to us. But with the Holy Spirit it is easy to discern his presence because he is in you. This is when Jesus was speaking about the person of the Holy Spirit in John 7:38, He denotes him as the living water that flows from our belly. For He said, He that believes in me as the Scriptures said, Out of his belly shall flow the rivers of living water.

You need the Holy Spirit to show you the way to your place. On your journey to the place, there would be miracles, temporary sources of provisions to aid you through your journey to your place. God told Elijah in 1 kings 17 :3- 9, "Go from here and turn east and hide yourself by the brook cherith, east of Jordan. You shall drink of the brook and I have commanded the raven to feed you there. So Elijah did according to the word of The Lord and the raven brought him bread and flesh in the morning and bread and flesh in the evening, and he drank of the brook. After a "while" the brook dried up because there was no rain in the land and the word of God came to Elijah, arise, go to zarephath, behold I have commanded a widow there to provide for you".
Now when the brook dries up and the raven no longer shows up what do you have to do? It is time to arise and move! Another typical example is in 2 kings 6 :24-25 ' and it came to pass after this that Ben-had ad king of Syria gathered all his host, and went up, and besieged Samaria and there was a great famine in Samaria...' What was the solution? In 1 Kings 7:3-12 there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate and they said to one another, why sit we here until we die? If we say, we will enter into the city, then feminine is in the city and we shall die there: and if we sit still here we die also. Now there fore come and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us we shall but die. Further down in verse 6; while the lepers were approaching, The Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host; and they said to one another, lo the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians to come upon us. Therefore they fled in the twilight and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was and fled for their lives...read till verse 9 and stop.

Some of us who have successfully launched out to find our place are stuck in the place of temporary provisions and when the brook dries up we cry God why? We suspect people to be behind our failures, we even sometimes think it is our own fault why the brook dried meanwhile it is God telling you to arise and move. It doesn't matter what made your brook dry up, it could be your mistake, it could be some else's mischief but I tell you God will use any method to get you of that place when you need to move.
The place of temporary provision is not where you have to settle. It is for a while and it is certain it will dry up. It could be a job it was only meant to sustain you till GOD prepares another place for you and you got sacked either because of your fault or someone's allegation against you it doesn't matter, it could be a relationship God allowed into your life for a short while to break you, teach you by trials and test till you are equipped for your spouse and the person wants to leave but you keep begging and wondering where you would start from if the person leaves, even if the person is leaving due to your own fault and God wants it that way Let it Go it doesn't matter, (this is not applicable to marriages!) it could be a thriving business meant to occupy you for a while till God plants you firmly in another going sour stop crying over what God has dried up, it is time to move, it could be a benefactor who say he can't help you any further it doesn't matter the reason, arise, trust God and move to the next place of provision! When you get to your place God will settle you there and nobody can move you.

Don't settle in that temporary place even if it looks very convenient always be ready to leave when God says so. Keep you eyes up to find your place. Only the Holy Spirit can take you there.

Segment 3- Recognising the place and the helper...

Mark 6: 48 ' and having seen that they were troubled and tormented in (their) rowing, for the wind was against them, about the fourth watch of the night ( between 3am-6am) He came to them, walking (directly) on the sea. And He acted as if He meant to pass by them (KJV interprets saying...and would have passed them by) But when they saw Him walking on the sea they thought it was a ghost and raised a shriek of terror. For they all saw Him and where agitated (troubled and filled with fear and dread)

It is so surprising that the disciples who have spent so much time with Jesus didn't recognise him even after they spent the night together breaking five loaves of bread and two fishes with five thousand people!

So many of us here have spent our time and entire childhood learning and following Christ. Recently some of you have been praying some specific prayers for God to show up in your troubles, you ask God to show up in your confusion yet when He shows up, you do not recognise him and you reject the answer you get, BECAUSE you have an in built, default idea of how Jesus Christ should show up. You might expect Jesus to show up gentle and he shows up in his majesty with his omnipotent and raw power that you think it's demonic. You might expect him to show up in all is Glory,Majesty, Awesomeness but he comes in meek and simple or you expect him to show up moderate and he comes way beyond your imagination and you say I can't believe this it is too good to be true.. If you have a problem with Things that are too good to be true, the problem might just be you don't see yourself true enough for good things to happen to you. Sometimes you expect him immediately and he shows up gradually you can barely perceive him to be around or you expect him later and he shows up now! Ask yourself before you build up your expectation... who is THE LORD? You or him, who calls the shot, you or him? When you begin to know that that it is less of you and more of him, then you would not load yourself with a preset mind. For John the baptist said in John 3:30.."He (Jesus) must increase and I must decrease.."  That should be the mindset of a true child of God

Maybe in your today, you suffer a problem, it could be a disease, an oppression or financial difficulties it doesn't really matter what you suffer from, He can handle it. You are here and sometime ago in the midst of your agony you simply said God help me, God is showing up to you now wanting to help you, He is waiting here right now for you to open your heart to him and he will show you the way to your place of healing, deliverance and prosperity, a place of Joy and a blessed assurance that when He comes again to take his people home you would not be left out. He is saying come... Come to me, I am the way , the truth and the life (John 14:6), bring your yoke and your heavy burdens to me let me take them and give you mine which is light and easy to bear (Matthew 11:28)... Will you reject Him now? This might not be the way you expected your answer to show up but it doesn't not mean the answer is not available. He came in a manger in the humble town of Bethlehem as a carpenter's son and the people that expected him did not recognise him as the Christ because he came in the humblest for that was not suitable for their preset idea of how the Messiah, the Christ should come. Will you be like them? If you want to take this bold step to accept him, do it now with you heart open knowing he would help you..don't say let me just take a chance. It is not a chance neither is He a coincidence of facts, He is for real.

If this message is received with joy, hallelujah, if it breaks you go and do what you have to.

Prayer:

Dear Father, I ask you in the name of Jesus to forgive of my sins in any way I have not been faithful to you in my life's situations. I ask you come into my life life and be the LORD over my life. I accept and agree to follow your leading in all that I do in the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

A LETTER FROM GOD

Isaiah 24:1-20
The earth has been defiled by its people; they have disobeyed God’s laws, violated His statues and broken the everlasting covenant- Isaiah 24:5
Dear Friends, as long as you inhabit this earth, you would hear the news, the certainty of the Judgement coming. The people of the earth have defiled themselves and have forgotten their maker; many say there is no God!  It is a doctrine of the devil.
The purpose of the destruction and disaster coming upon nations and peoples shortly is to remind everybody there is a God! Beloved, this is the prophecy:
1)  Natural disasters, i.e. earthquakes, flood, heat wave, or unexplained occurrences claiming lives, fire outbreak, Earth tremors.
 2)  Increased drunkenness among the people: No longer will people drink for pleasure or merriment, the cry for beer (alcohol) will be to console the bitterness of their heart.
3.)  Unexplained weather conditions.
4.)  Very strong violent winds capable of destruction.
5.)  The Churches will be filled with people seeking to know God
6.)  Zechariah 8:23...In the ear of the judgement... “Ten men from all languages and nations will take firm hold of One Jew (a believing Christian) by the hem of his robe and say ‘Let us go with you because we have heard that God is with you’.
7.)  Every heart will fear and acknowledge God.
8.)  The government will consult the Churches of God.
9.)  The voice of the righteous ones will reign.
10.)  Sales of Bibles and Christian materials will double.
11.)  The Christians who are ashamed of their God will be wasted.
12.)Evangelism and revival will flourish again, all Christians will become ministers of the gospel wherever they are. The Christians who do not preach the gospel will be ashamed and cut off.

TO DO:

It is certain that all these would happen, but your escape from the destruction that wastes at noon day and the pestilence that stalks in darkness would be individual.
To be saved, first acknowledge there is a God and you have sinned against him. Confess your sins genuinely, repenting from all and ask JESUS CHRIST to forgive you. Believe in Jesus Christ that He died for you and rose again from the dead to be in glory with God the Father. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST shall be saved! Now, you and your family and friends go to Church regularly ad buy a Bible or ask for any free one and read daily.

THE RIGTHEOUS:

This is not a time to be silent. Any of the righteous ones who sees his neighbour erring and keep silent will share in the judgement upon their neighbour (Ezekiel 3:17-21). Every Christian now has to act as a Minister of God and begin spreading the word of God to all people. Do not sit idle. Now is the time to harvest for the kingdom of God is at hand.
Anybody who doubt this; learn from the generation of Noah in Genesis 7:1-end. There was a warning before it happened but they did not believe. However, the people of Nineveh after been warned of God through Jonah saved their souls from the destruction at hand (Jonah 3:1-end).

The Trust Issue

Few days ago my wife and I were watching a movie. The movie was so touching and I think she probably got emotional while watching and she paused it (something she does all the time when something just bumps into her head along the way, so I always end up struggling to understand the film again after we resume) and started recalling events that has happened between us and that somehow related to the current film we were watching (not the very good ones) after talking for how long I couldn’t calculate she now asked me...Do you trust me?

A long pause

She was surprised that I wasn’t so swift in answering her question, as I would normally have done if she had asked do you love me? The longer I stayed silent the more ruffled she became and finally asked me; have I ever given you a reason to not to trust me? I was quick to say a big NO. Then she asked;
‘’So then answer the question; do you trust me?’’... (Silence)…Bode!!!

See now, it is so sweet to want to tell your partner how much you trust them, how much you believe them not to do wrong things that can jeopardize your relationship. Even relationship experts, counselors and motivational speakers tell you to trust your partner and tell them how much you trust them. Even think about it isn’t life so miserable if you don’t have someone you could really put your trust in. hmmm…really??

I have come to a stage where I don’t hold credible any statement that is not of the Holy Spirit but of human wisdom no matter how highly reputable the person saying it may be.

Jesus Christ said, “Love your neighbor as you love yourself”, he didn’t say trust your neighbor as you trust as you trust yourself because he knew you couldn’t trust yourself in the first place let alone you neighbor. Nowhere in the scriptures have we been urged to trust in anything or person but God no matter how sweet trusting someone might sound.

I love this definition of Trust,
The state of being responsible for someone of something (Mac Dictionary)

Now when you put your trust in someone or something you give them the responsibility of making you happy always, not disappointing you, satisfying your every whim, provided for, cared for, protected, watched over, not backing out on you, not to condemn you in spite of you, to accommodate your failings without reminding you and so on…

Really can you give a human all that responsibility and believe they can fulfill all of that? Isn’t it burdensome and of too high an expectation and a very selfishly demanding tall order that someone should be all that for you?

Most time we have seen how we have failed our own self; we have seen how the government has failed us, how long standing institutions have folded up in a very short notice and so on. Most of us have learnt quickly not to trust the government, so why do we want to put the burden of our trust on a delicate one person human?

Take this advice seriously it will save you from depression;

Anything that is under the influence of change is not worthy to be trusted.

This doesn’t mean you should live life suspicious and paranoid of everything and everyone but live life with wisdom.

Only God is above change because He can’t change but can change change itself. He can’t be better than He is and can’t be less either. He is just the true I AM

Marriages today crumble, relationships no longer last, great businesses fold up simply because they have put their trust in man…Let see what the Bible says about this;

‘’ Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm...’’
Jeremiah 17:5 (KJV)

Lets not be polite. When you start to trust in any man irrespective of whom they are before God…YOU ARE CURSED! Meaning it will not work out, your trust in them will simply be your shame.

Here says another scripture;

Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom (your wife or husband as the case maybe) For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house. Therefore I will look unto the Lord;
Micah 7:5-7 (KJV)

When you put your trust in anything or person you only make it a center target, a spot where the devil and his cohorts will shoot at anytime they need to torment or tempt you. Job was afflicted in all he trusted.

The devil is not very interested in anything that you don’t value because it won’t mean anything to you if you didn’t hope on it in the first place. You quickly invite the devil into anything that you trust that is not God.

Readers don’t put your happiness in the spotlight.

Jesus said;

Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also
Luke 12:33-34 (KJV)

Don’t misinterpret this verse, Jesus didn’t mean sell all ye have and stay homeless without a possession or property to your name. It is not an excuse to be lazy because Christ also said ‘’...Occupy till I come’’ in Luke 19:13 saying be productive, do businesses, prosper till I come.

He meant, put you trust in the things above, to sell means to exchange; Jesus is urging us to exchange those things which we need, our marriage, our health, our finance etc insure it in him, sell them all to Christ where it would not fail and the thief (the devil) cannot approach it, nor the moth (devourer) corrupteth…don’t you feel like shouting Hallelujah!

This is an invitation for an heavenly insurance to cover all your treasures, because if you keep all your treasures, all your trust in Heaven, in Jesus caring hands and you trust him to look after it, your heart and your trust will be in him because your treasure is in him (or your treasures are with him) and the good news is that, it will not fail!

Imagine if you purchased a new car and you took a comprehensive insurance over that car. You do not need to trust the car or all the in-built security functions that the car possesses so you need not be scared to ensure and keep ensuring. You trust in the insurance company to cover whatever damages or theft that may occur or any fault that may result from circumstances beyond your control and you do not put your trust in whatever strength or anti-theft or anti-fire system in built in the car because it can fail. Now your heart is more in the insurance and not the car.

So we need to understand this that God wants us to trust in him more than we do trust in anything or person, now if we put our trust in God’s insurance then we can go to rest that our spouse will not fail us, neither will anything happen to our possessions that is not in God’s control. So if at anytime you face a crack in your relationship as long as you have initially put the responsibility of trust on God and not your spouse, friend or partner you will not be so hurt that you cannot forgive (and move on if need be) and with that openness of mind and willingness to forgive over and over you can live with whatever shortcoming they may have, and in the outcome your love despite their failings will change them and make you a true example of whom our father in Heaven is  ‘’…that despite when we were yet sinners he loved us and died for us’’. This is the cure for many divorces, separation, heartbreaks, emotional sicknesses, breakdown, heart attacks and so on. Many of us are suffering from deep emotional hurt from someone we had trusted and failed us woefully, some are suffering heart attack because a business or scheme they had depended on had failed them. Or a husband or wife who has pledged for better for worse when it was sweet but has now remixed their vows when the going got rocky, or a friend who bailed out on you on a very crucial moment you trusted them to be there for you. The world would tell you to trust nobody because of wrong reasons and they go about it the wrong way but if you trust nobody, where then do you put the trust?  In yourself?  Then, you’ve got it very double wrong.
If you ask if I could trust you, I wont say I don’t trust you that’s unfair but I would rather say ‘I trust God that he will make you do right’. With this statement I hold God responsible for whatever comes out of our relationship!

Keep that Trust in God alone!

After I took my wife through this revelation of what the Holy Spirit had taught me about trust she was so inspired, reoriented her confession and started telling her friends!

Tell someone today!

YOUR WORDSCOPE FOR THIS WEEK:  ROMANS 10:8

The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”[a] (that is, the word of faith which we preach):

 KJV

But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,”[a](A) that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim:

  NIV

The word that saves is right here,
as near as the tongue in your mouth,
as close as the heart in your chest.

The Message

The Word (God’s message in Christ) is near you, on your lips and in your heart; that is, the Word (the message, the basis and object) of faith which we preach,

The Amplified

The Word of God in itself is prophecy and prophetic. You do not need a prophet to predict or tell you your future or how you can overcome your problems. The Word of God is right there in your heart  speak it with you mouth, keep speaking it it is sure that you will see what you have spoken. It is the power that will create your desired future.

Remember in Matthew 21 vs 19-20 where Jesus Christ spoke to the fig tree and cursed it to wither, the result was not physically immediate but it was already effected in the spiritual and the tree had dried up from the roots where it is not obvious to the physical eyes. At evening the result was obvious. The fact that you are not yet seeing what you believe and have spoken forth in faith doesn't means it has not been effected. It has! Don't change your confession yet hold on. Just one wrong word can corrupt all you have built up in faith!

Word to note:
The fact that you cannot see bacteria and viruses doesn't mean they don't exist! you ignore them at your own peril. Our life is not limited to only what we can see. Lots of things we don't see with our naked eyes still have great effect on our lives.  You can't see you confession now but it is working where you can't see. Be a hero of faith by inheriting God's promises through patience
